Mayo B Hydropower Station,Canada

The Yukon Energy Mayo B Project is an existing hydro facility, increasing the capacity from 5 to 15 magawatts. The project involves the construction of a new powerhouse approximately 3 kilometers downstream from the existing powerhouse. Two new Francis Turbines will be installed in the new powerhouse bringing the total capacity of the Mayo facilities to 15 magawatts. Equipment being supplied includes the turbines, generators, bifurcation equipment, excitation system, governor system, and associated electrical and mechanical auxiliaries. Chongqing Yunhe Hydropower Inc. is executing the project as part of a strategic alliance with ABB , one of the world's leading electric equipment supplier in the market.
